A Night to Remember is coming to audiobook!
On the 5th anniversary of my first, self-published release, I have partnered with Audie Award-winner Chris Ciulla to bring you A Night to Remember the audiobook. Chris’ narration brings the nautical misadventure of Walter Straub to life in a phenomenal production. On August 1st the audiobook releases to Audible and other marketplaces across the internet.

A Quarry Update
As you read this, I am shopping A Quarry of Woes, my humorous fantasy western novel-in-progress to agents and publishers. The story follows an oversized, danger-prone youth with a gifted green thumb who must pair with his estranged, outlaw sorceress mother in order to save their frontier town from a mining baron whose ambitions threaten to tear apart the very fabric of nature and magic. It’s Terry Pratchett does Deadwood, or Kevin Hearne remakes Little House on the Prairie…except my band of misfits actually leaves town once in a while.

Overstuffed Lunchbox: A Bunch of Bite-Sized Bits, my compilation of published and unpublished short works, “masterfully blends, humor, fantasy, and suspense” – GoodReads
Laughs, gasps, and heart-pounding action are crammed inside this bulging box of circus heroes, world-weary warriors, and flirtatious neighbors bearing questionable casseroles. Lunchbox offers up a collection of short tales that are endlessly entertaining.

Bowen didn’t look to be a writer, but writing found him anyway. Since publishing his first offbeat short story in Allegory e-zine, Bowen has won awards for his work and continues to find homes for his quirky tales, boldly told.
Bowen’s stories are for fun-seekers, thrill-seekers, and joy-seekers. He writes for those who like to smile as they read. Quirky is his touchstone. Offbeat, his muse. If you’re looking to step away from characters of dark, brooding intensity or worlds devoid of hope, then look no further. This stuff is right up your alley…if you buy books in an alley.
Which is creepy.
